The Federal Government has just announced the commencement of the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) organised by the National Examination Council (NECO to hold as from October 5 to November 18, 2020.
In like manner, the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) examinations was also announced by the FG to hold as from September 21 and October 15, 2020.
The Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajuiba, made this known after a two days meeting with the Chief Executives of both Examination bodies.
In a statement on 29th July, 2020, the Director of Press and Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education (FMoE), Ben Goong, stated clearly that the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Unity Colleges has been scheduled for 17th October, 2020.
He also said the Basic Education Certificate Examinations, (BECE) for JSS 3 pupils chaired by NECO, will also commenced from August 24th to September 7th, 2020.
The statement further reads that, the registration for the NECO (SSCE), which is on-going, will end on or before 10th September, 2020 with no extension.
