Police operatives attached to Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team had arrested five person who has been terrorizing the Southern Part of the state.
They arrested persons are Daniel Ihyar, Saheed Yakubu, Felix Agrema, Teitase Nyenkwa and Lukman Musa.
They suspects were arrested at different location in Taraba state .
According to the suspects they started engaging in criminal activities like Kidnapping and robbery after been involved in the Tiv/Jukun Crisis in Southern part of Taraba state.
The Punch Newspaper reported Mr Felix is the younger brother of Joe Agrema, the leader of the gang.
They suspect confess been in possession of 10 Ak47 raffles which they have been using to perfect their criminal activities.
Joe, got they raffles from the Tiv/Jukun Crisis one of the suspect Yakubu confessed.
Yakubu who is a Fulani Man is the key informant of the criminal gang and he recieve the sum of #10,000 for each assignment.
Joe’s younger brother, Felix, disclosed that he joined the gang this year around March and only took part in one operation before his arrest.
‘‘I joined him in kidnapping some Tiv delegates who were on their way home after visiting the governor in Jalingo. We blocked the expressway using army uniform and we abducted the delegates. The sum of N7m was paid for their release. I bought a car with my own share of the ransom.”
Their hideout is located in a forest at Dan-Anacha of Gassol Local government of Taraba state.
The Police said they are still looking for one other suspect Joe who is still at large.
