The Kogi state CoronaVirus index case early confirmed in the state which the victim happens to be one chief imam of kabba, Sheikh Abubukar Ejibunu, who was admitted at the National hospital, Abuja, is now tested negative and hearty.
The chief imam who was confirmed to be negative and discharged on Friday, 5th June, 2020 at about 4:00pm.
The state government is currently making preparation in beringing back the Chief imam to Kogi inorder to continue with his normal duties.
One among the family members speaking to journalist in Lokoja, this morning confirm that, Sheikh Abubukar Ejibunu, has fully recovered and has also been discharged from the National Hospital in Abuja.
It could be recalled that, two weeks back Sheikh Abubukar Ejibunu, was discharged from the federal medical centre Lokoja and transferred to the National Hospital in Abuja because he was tested positive of the deadly CoronaVirus by the NCDC.
Even though at first the State government refuse claims by the NCDC that Kogi state is absolutely free from COVID- 19 and that Sheikh Abubukar Ejibunu, is not positive. This claims prompted one Chief Taiye Ejibunu, a member of the family who confirm that the Chief Imam has the virus.
