Two Abducted Children From Borno Rescued in Taraba – Arewa Focus

The Nigeria Civil defence, Taraba State Command of had on Thursday disclose that it has rescued two children abducted from Borno State in Lau LGA Taraba state on Wednesday.

The State Commandant, Alhaji Aliyu Ndanusa, disclosed this to pressmen in the state capital Jalingo, Aliyu said the two children were abducted from Askira Uba in Borno state.

He explained that the abductors were traced to their hideout in Lau after men of the command got the information and intelligence report about the evil act.

The abductor flew away after sighting the operative of the corps, leaving they children behind, Ndanusa explained.

Ndanusa identified the children as Yakubu Usman and Muhammed, from a community in Borno state 9 and 7yrs respectively.

The commandant further disclosed that, the family of the children are since contacted and the children are expected to return to their family soon.

The commandant, who warned that there is no hiding place for criminal element in Taraba, said his men are working tirelessly to apprehend the abductors and urged the public to be security-conscious to avoid such an incidence in the near future.
