The Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) Gombe state chapter through her Chairman Joda Ibrahim, told news men in Gombe the state capital that the governor Yahaya has sidelined the Christian community in the state resources allocation.


He confirmed his assertion by saying, “This is the first time in history of Gombe that the state government refused to fund the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board but did fund for Muslim Hajj”.

Joda Ibrahim, also said the Christian community in the state is shock of this development and consider this as an act of division and religious sentiment.


He finally, commented that if such an intentional act is not corrected immediately the result in the nearest future will be obnoxious.

Our correspondent contacted Samaila Uba Misili (governor’s media aide) who dismissed the clam but couldn’t prove the state CAN chairman wrong.
