Senator Bala Muhammed the governor of Bauchi State had with immediate effect suspended Nura Dan Maishar’a and Gara’u Adamu the Caretaker Chairman of Ningi and Darazo Local Government areas respectively for the abuse of office leading to deforestation in the state.
This was contained in a statement signed by Muktar Gidado, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to Governor, the statement reads, “The both Caretaker Chairmen’s has not been involving the council stakeholders in any decisions whatsoever which is against the law guiding the state and the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.
Dazaro council boss was suspended for his continuous absenteeism from his duty post which is detrimental to the development of his Council and also against the oath of office which he took.
While the Council boss of Ningi LGA was suspended because of his refusal to recognize the appointment of a new administrative secretary who was appointed based on the interest of the council stakeholders and entire local government. The governor believe he is doing this because of his own interest at heart, which is detrimental to the development of the community and his administration.
The statement finally reads, “The two LGA boss was suspended to enable the government investigate the allegations and come up with the final resolution.
